Choosing a suitable school is a very important part in your child's learning journey. It is important for parents to visit the schools and decide on whether that school will meet the needs of their child. For Nurseries, the catchment criteria doesn't apply, however, for Reception places, the local authority will assign places according to catchment criteria and other additional criteria. 

There are some key dates to be aware of to ensure that you don't miss out on your first choice school:

Reception applications: open on 1st November 2024 and close on 15th January 2025.

You will receive your offer on National Offer Day - 16th April 2025

• talking to other parents about what they think of the school
