Welcome to Langdale Primary School's website. We are a two-form entry primary school in the heart of the Westlands and Clayton community in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

We welcome children from the age of 2 in our Little Learners facility and enjoy watching them flourish and grow into unique individuals as they journey through our school, leaving us with the necessary life skills to be successful learners for life.

Our success is built upon our strong school vision that everyone in our school community is an important PART of making our school a success. Our staff, children and families show PRIDE in being a part of our school community, they show AMBITION for all, they are RESILIENT and RESPECTFUL and they work TOGETHER to achieve this.

As part of the Creative Learning Partnership Trust, we are proud to embrace their vision that children are at the centre of all that we do. Our curriculum is bespoke and is designed with our children, families and community in mind. We foster strong relationships between our school and our families and would extend a warm welcome to any prospective parents looking for a nurturing school with a strong ethos and values.

This afternoon, we had a special assembly in which School Council announced the grand total raised through the Sponsored Run - an astonishing £4,930.89! What an amazing amount - huge thanks to everyone who has supported us with this event. Langdale PTA is also contributing funds to this project, so a real and lasting difference can be made to the play provision in KS1 both now and for the future. Two children who raised the most money were given prizes - Isaac from Y4 and Freddie from Nursery. Many children had also raised amazing amounts, so two runner-up prizes were awarded for nearly raising the most money - Aiden in Y3 and Honey in Y1! Just a quick message to say, if you still are still collecting sponsor money for the School Council sponsored run, that all contributions great or small will be gratefully received up to Wednesday 8th July. There will be an assembly for YR-Y6 during Wednesday afternoon, when School Council will hand out prizes to the two children who have raised the most money (one from KS2 and one from KS1/Reception/Nursery/Little Learners) and also announce the grand total raised! There has been a phenomenal response to this project and we are all blown away here by the generosity of Langdale families, friends and others linked to our school.
